Grant to improve and expand access to health care in rural areas by developing new, sustainable rural residency programs to address the physician workforce shortages and challenges faced by rural communities. The program aims to develop new rural residency training programs in family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, general surgery, gynecology and also support the development of new rural residency training programs in maternal and newborn health and obstetrics.
