Grants for Excellence in the Teaching and Learning Process
GrantID: 66917
Grant Funding Amount Low: $1,000
Deadline: Ongoing
Grant Amount High: $1,000
Summary
This opportunity offers nonprofit organizations in a defined region the chance to participate in a concentrated giving initiative designed to raise funds, expand visibility, and deepen community engagement. The program is open to nonprofits serving residents of a specific county and aims to catalyze their work by providing a platform, outreach support, and donor-matching incentives. The funds are intended for general organizational capacity, program delivery, outreach expansion, or strategic growth rather than strictly tied to a single narrowly defined project.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits (or organizations with a fiscal sponsor) operating within the designated county. Small businesses and individuals are not eligible to apply directly. Applicants must demonstrate that their mission serves the community broadly, that they operate without discrimination, and that they welcome broad public support rather than acting as pass-through grant organizations. Organizations must complete an application process in order to be selected for participation in the event.
The benefits of participation include increased donor awareness, access to a dedicated matching fund pool which amplifies each gift, access to training or promotional resources, and inclusion in a high‐visibility community event. The funding interests are intentionally broad—encompassing many areas of community need such as human services, education, health and wellness, arts and culture, environment, and youth development. What matters most is that organizations show a compelling story, clear community impact and readiness to engage donors.
Deadlines follow an annual cycle, with applicants selected ahead of the live giving‐event day and funds distributed in the course of that event. While the initiative is not a traditional grant awarded to any applicant, it functions as a one‐day campaign platform that materially benefits participating nonprofits via fundraising leverage, visibility and donor match. The initiative repeats each year, offering a new round of participation and grant amplification annually.
