Eligible applicants must be recognized 501(c)(3) organizations located in or directly serving one or more of the eligible Central Texas counties. Each focus area supports projects that demonstrate clear outcomes, strong community partnerships, and a capacity to manage and sustain the proposed initiative beyond the grant period.

Award amounts generally range from $25,000 to $100,000 depending on the scope and impact of the project. Funds may be used for program implementation, expansion of existing services, personnel, operating costs tied to the initiative, or strategic capacity-building efforts that enhance organizational effectiveness.

This opportunity is intended to empower nonprofit organizations to address local challenges through creative and inclusive solutions. Programs that reduce barriers to education, improve community health outcomes, or strengthen social support networks are encouraged to apply. Organizations should clearly outline the need addressed, the target population served, and the expected community benefit.

Each year, the opportunity helps strengthen the nonprofit sector across Central Texas, enabling organizations to collaborate, innovate, and deliver meaningful improvements in the quality of life for local residents.
