Eligible applicants include classroom teachers, principals, assistant principals, librarians, media specialists, school counselors, psychologists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, and instructional coaches. Applicants must have at least three cumulative years of experience in one or more of these roles and currently work in accredited K–12 schools. A valid professional educator license or a relevant bachelor's degree is also required.
The grant supports projects that are intellectually enriching and personally renewing, such as exploring new cultures, engaging in creative arts, or pursuing academic interests. Proposals should be well-organized, clearly written, and demonstrate thorough planning with a realistic timeline and budget. The fellowship period spans 18 months, allowing recipients ample time to engage deeply with their chosen activities.
