Funding for investigators and institutions impacted by the program and with the grants active at the time of the storms will benefit from the opportunity are restricted to applicants located in a county or parish where a major disaster occured.


The purpose of this funding opportunity is for investigators and institutions impacted by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian with active NIH grants to request:

1) a 24-month extension of the current budget period, with 12-months of funding at the same funding level as the current year of the grant and/or

2) a one-time administrative supplement of up to $150,000 in direct costs (excluding consortium facilities and administrative costs) to replace lost and/or damaged research resources; and/or
