Summary

Business-growth support invests in mother-owned companies ready to expand, strengthen operations, reach customers, and create opportunity. Funds support growth needs identified by the owner, including products, services, marketing, equipment, technology, staffing, training, or strategies that move a business forward. The program recognizes balancing entrepreneurship, caregiving, and long-term goals.

Eligible recipients are mothers, including expecting, adoptive, foster, and stepmothers, owning at least half of a for-profit product- or service-based business. Companies must be headquartered in the United States or Canada, demonstrate revenue within published eligibility range, and show commitment to sustained growth. Applicants explain their business, the challenge or opportunity they face, community impact, future vision, and intended use of funds. A public social-media post sharing the business story is part of the submission. Selection considers business viability, clarity of purpose, potential for growth, and the strength of the applicant’s story. Finalists receive funding and public recognition through the annual competition.
