Summary

To engage your students in growing native forbs wildflower plants indoors and planting them on an appropriately prepared site. Teachers involved with agricultural and/or environmental education are especially welcome to apply. The goal of this competitive grant program is to provide high school students with experiential learning opportunities through creating habitat for insect pollinators. Projects will increase the diversity of native forbs within an agricultural or other working landscape for the benefit of native bees, honeybees, and monarch butterflies.
