Summary

This grant opportunity provides funding to support nonprofit organizations serving communities within a specific region of southeastern Minnesota and nearby surrounding areas. Eligible applicants are primarily 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and public entities, while individuals and for-profit businesses are generally not eligible. Funding is intended for projects, programs, or equipment that address local needs, strengthen community services, and improve quality of life.

Grants may support both new initiatives and ongoing programs, with smaller awards available for operational support and larger amounts for capacity-building efforts.

Opportunities are offered on a recurring annual basis with multiple application cycles. Priority is given to projects demonstrating measurable impact, strong planning, and clear community benefit within the defined local service area.
