Summary
Support strengthens programs that improve safety, stability, opportunity, health, education, and economic independence for women and girls. Resources fund services, outreach, training, advocacy, coordinated support, and approaches addressing barriers affecting women’s lives. Projects promoting inclusion, leadership, access to resources, and positive change are aligned.
Eligible recipients are charitable nonprofit organizations serving women and girls in south-central Pennsylvania. Priority goes to work benefiting residents of adjoining counties in the Harrisburg region and nearby communities. Strong proposals identify a need, target population, activities, partnerships, use of funds, and measurable outcomes. Organizations can pursue support for programs addressing financial stability, family wellbeing, education, workforce preparation, health, safety, social justice, and other needs expanding opportunity. Applications are evaluated for alignment with community priorities, implementation, capacity to deliver services, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Funded work builds pathways for women and girls to thrive, participate fully in communities, and achieve independence and wellbeing.
