Summary

This opportunity provides funding to expand access to capital and financial resources with a focus on supporting underserved and rural communities. The program is statewide and primarily serves nonprofit lending organizations, community development financial institutions, and similar entities that work directly with small businesses. Individuals and small businesses do not typically apply directly but benefit through services provided by funded organizations.

The intent of the funding is to increase access to credit for businesses that may face barriers to traditional financing, including those with limited credit history or located in underserved areas. Funds may be used to provide loans, investments, technical assistance, and small business training. A portion of funding may also support loan loss reserves or program administration to strengthen lending capacity and reduce risk for participating organizations.
