Summary

Grant for development, preservation, and expansion of affordable housing.  Eligible applicants typically include nonprofit housing developers, for-profit developers partnering on affordable housing projects, and certain municipal or community development entities, while individuals are not eligible.


The purpose of the funding is to increase the supply of affordable rental and homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents. Funds may be used for new housing construction, rehabilitation of existing properties, adaptive reuse of buildings, infrastructure improvements, and preservation of at-risk housing units.
