Summary
Support advances equitable opportunities for families to learn, play, and grow. Resources strengthen early childhood and K–12 learning, career pathways, family supports, green spaces, access to nature, community healthcare, food security, and systems change. Collaborative projects, capacity-building, advocacy, and community planning can create durable improvements for families.
Eligible recipients are nonprofit organizations serving selected communities in Illinois, Colorado, California, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Florida. Funding is relationship-based rather than a conventional open application process. Organizations with a close fit can use contact channels to introduce their work and explore partnership; requests are considered only when invited. Strong outreach explains the community need, population served, proposed approach, partners, and potential for results. Priority goes to resident-informed work that reduces barriers, builds community power, improves wellbeing, and strengthens the systems supporting families. Applicants should show leadership, collaboration, and commitment to equitable, sustainable outcomes. Support emphasizes relationships and shared learning, not isolated transactions.
